What a fantastic lake home on Gull Lake! Enjoyed every minute at this beautiful home. The home was located with other similar houses a few hundred feet from the sandy beach and boat launch and with a lakeview that was breathtaking no matter the time of the day. Property was clean, numerous picnic areas, a big toy for children and fire pits for roaring fires and smores. Fish were caught from the dock and the boat. Children enjoyed the clean water and building sand castles. The home had everything that you could possibly need. Kitchen well stocked with supplies and all appliances worked great. The bathrooms off each bedroom were amazing, had the latest fixtures and wonderful tile work. A screened porch was a favorite for early morning coffee. I'm not sure what happened but we didn't see a single bug the whole time we were there, not even a mosquito. All family members loved their stay and we are all planning on coming again. All information we requested from the owner was provided to us in a timely manner and was very helpful in planning our trip. We have been to many properties in northern Minnesota, but this was by far an exceptional experience. Everything was taken care of and the owner and representative did everything possible to make our stay exceptional. All three bedrooms had expensive linens that we loved. We want to order these exact brands!! Overall, we all want to come again and would highly recommend this property to all. We enjoyed going into Nisswa shopping, eating out and exploring the area. The pizza place, Rafferty's had great pizza, and Ernie's had fantastic walleye sandwiches, fries, etc. Overall, a wonderful vacation up North. Can't wait to come again.!!!”

WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS! This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. The remodeled interior was beautiful and the beach was awesome. The location is on a more unprotected area of Gull so the lake was very choppy on the windy days, but we got some boating in during the evening when it calmed down a bit. The kids loved the fire pit on the beach and roasting s'mores as the sun went down. One MINOR recommendation would be to add a binder in the cabin that gives more information on the property, i.e. where the garbage is located, etc.”

We like to head north for a fall color weekend getaway every year, and this was perfect. We stayed at this cabin in mid September with another family and our children, 4 adults and 4 kids. The weather was still nice, and we were able to enjoy the sandy beach and roast marshmallows by the fire pit. The lakeshore was so calm and level that we didn't worry about the kids playing in the water (a little cold in September though!) We brought our boat and were able to keep it at the dock on the property ($35 per day), which was a huge bonus. The cabin was clean, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. There are essentially two master suites downstairs, and a third lofted bedroom upstairs with two queens. The kids were excited to take the upstairs, and the parents were equally happy to each have a master bedroom downstairs. The grounds were well maintained and even had a rainbow play set for the kids. We also liked that the cabin was 5 mins to charming downtown Nisswa for great shopping, dining and grocery supplies. We couldn't be happier, and have already booked our week next summer. A true gem!”

My 82 year old mother nearly fell in the tub. That would have been disastrous! Otherwise, the place was top notch! Comfortable beds, great pillows, lots of bathrooms, clean....We also appreciated that there were many things to do nearby and onsite. We had a terrific time and plan to be back next year!”

What you can't see in the pictures is the premium bedding, plenty of nice white fluffy bath towels and many books about the Brained lakes area. The view of the water from the cabin is great - especially at sunset. It is these kind of personal touches that made our family fall in love with this cabin during our stay. We plan to return so we can take that nice short little walk to the beach (no stairs) and sit on the dock to watch the boats, birds and just enjoy.
